Ripley... a small quaint village... antique shops, jewellers, a bakers, fine country pubs... and us... UKguitars.
Many a customers first reaction on visiting our shop... "Why Ripley?"
Well... the answer is simple. We want to give our customers everything you would expect whether purchasing your first guitar ... or your ultimate guitar in relation to service, quality and price.
Our internet presence is vast with 1000s of guitars and products leaving our warehouse/office complex each week... our shop? Well, it's all about the personal touch.
How do we do things different?
Well, firstly our shop is situated in a small village and it's that "old style" customer service we wish to give our customers. It's the best of both worlds, our prices are rarely beaten, and neither is our attention to giving you, the guitarist, the service you deserve.
The shop is crammed with 100s of guitars for you to come down and enjoy. From beginner packs to ultra-rarities, our stock moves quick so you'll find new guitars each time you visit.
There's free parking in the village, you're welcome to stay for as long as you want. You'll be greeted by Brian, our store manager, who is prone to enjoying a cup of coffee and chatting with all and sundry!
So the next time you find yourself driving (not the best term to use...) around the M25, or heading on the A3, drop on by UKguitars... we're easy to find conveniently situated opposite "The Ship" pub adjacent to the only traffic lights in the village....

Every
UK guitarist who has used the world wide web to find
information regarding his/her favourite guitarist,
or guitar manufacturer has had the same problem
accessing a single site encompassing what the guitarist
is looking for. That's where we step in.....
UKguitars.com
is managed and continuously updated by Musicstreet
Limited. As an independent company, we're able to
provide our visitors with an honest and refreshing view
of the UK guitar world. UKguitars.com is run BY guitarists
FOR guitarists. We work with a range of writers who
share the same passion that we have.
During
September 2005, UKguitars.com was visited by over
127,000 unique web users (when we say unique, we mean
individuals.... we know all guitarists are unique :)
). The rapid expansion of the site and visitor numbers
means that we can expand the range of promotions to
our visitors and through the launch of our online shop,
Musicstreet.co.uk, expand the range of products. In
August 2004 we received the 1,000,000th access to UKguitars.com.
Musicstreet
delivers a mixture of goods including guitars, guitar
effects and amplifiers, T-shirts, guitar merchandise
along with tablature, DVDs and CDs. "The idea of
centralising the market is to provide a single site
for the UK guitarist to cater for all their guitar related
purchases".
Musicstreet,
initially launched with a limited range of products,
the product range has now grown through distribution
agreements with Fender, Gibson, Laney, Ibanez, and 50
further major guitar brands along with a range of independent
manufacturers. We only stock products that we feel are
of the quality and durability that our readers expect
from us.
| November
2004 saw the launch of our first shop in Ripley,
Surrey. With 100's of guitars on display to puruse,
admire or do what they were made for...play, we're
now expanding with further village high street shops
planned for 2006. Keeping our own costs to a minimum
allows us to compete and surpass the larger chains
relating to both price and stock quantity. |
There
are exciting times ahead, and we'd love to involve
as many guitarists, guitar manufacturers, or simply
visitors who love their music. Don't hesitate to contact
us if you have any comments, suggestions or queries.
